Grain temperature probe

We supply a 1.4m and a 2.0m grain temperature probe. It is a 9.5mm diameter stainless steel reinforced needle grain temperature probe, reducing at the tip for faster temperature response (17 seconds) . The polypropylene T-shaped handle makes it easy to push the probe into a pile to reach potentional grain hot spots.

The probe can be connected to any device which accepts a K type thermocouple input, most commonly one of the handheld digital thermometers shown below.

Grain temperature thermometers, thermostats and loggers

The grain probe is a type K thermocouple with a mini plug which can be used in conjuction with either:

• A handheld thermometer 1, 2 or 3,

• A Data logger with either 2, 5 or 10 inputs to monitor and take readings at set time increments and provide high and low alarms by text message and email, or,

• A digital thermostat to provide an alarm at a set temperature.
